2. Donations.

All donor transactions are safe and secure as we use the industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt and protect information. We will not sell, rent, share or trade this information with any third party. We will provide a written receipt for donations of $100 or more. Unless other wise specified, donations will benefit both local art programs and schools in the developing world according to needs determined by Class-ACT. All donations are final. There are no refunds available.

3. Use of links.

In the event you choose to use links that appear on our site to visit other web sites, you are advised to read the privacy policies that appear on those sites.

4. Cookies.

Like many web sites, we set and use cookies to enhance your user experience, such as retaining your personal settings. Advertisements may appear on our web site and, if so, may set and access cookies on your computer - these are subject to the privacy policy of those parties providing the advertisement. Since we do not control these other websites or their business practices, this privacy policy does not apply to these other Websites. However, the companies serving the advertising do not have access to our cookies. These companies usually use non-personally identifiable or anonymous codes to obtain information about your visits to our site.

We do not accept donations from, or have direct contact with anyone under the age of 18 without the approval of supervising adults.

We send news updates periodically to those who provide us with name, address, and email address to be placed on our database. This personal information will remain confidential. We will not sell, rent, share or trade this information with any third party. All news emails will give recipients the option of being removed from the news update database.

We may make changes to this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of substantial changes to this Policy either by posting a prominent announcement on our site and/or by sending a message to the e-mail address you have provided to us that is contained within your user settings.

Every effort will be made to allocate donations according to a donor's wish. However, circumstances beyond our control may prevent us from being able to complete all phases of the Global Art & Culture Connection.

Contacts in the developing world are researched and analyzed carefully with the intent of maintaining an ongoing clear and reliable exchange. There are, however many factors beyond our control that could cause disruption in our established link.

As a consequence of the above, we disclaim any warranties or representations relating to maintenance or nondisclosure of information, and disclaim any assurances that an established link to a developing world contact can be maintained.
